**Confidence and specific tools to offer hands-on adjustments if appropriate
Sarah Katie Gillespie came to yoga from distance running, and has been practicing for twenty years. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher training in 2006 at Sonic Yoga in Manhattan with Jonathan Fields and Lauren Hanna. She refined her practice for in following years at Kula Yoga Project in Manhattan, practicing with and learning from Wanderlust founder Schuyler Grant, as well as Nikki Vilella, Alex Auder, David Regelin and others. She is also certified to teach pre-natal yoga. She taught for eight years in New York City before relocating to Athens, GA, and joining the Five Points community. Sarah Katie still runs regularly and is committed to providing a rigorously alignment-based, energetic flow class.
