All Students Welcome
The wise, heartfelt use of power is based on the ability to sustain relationship and connection in the face of challenging ethical issues. This ability is built on skills of mindful presence, compassion, and wisdom. Using the first 2 limbs of Yoga as a foundation for skillful presence and connection, we will explore the discerning and compassionate use of power.
As a gateway for exploration, there will be emphasis on yogic principles such as:
*Bhakti Yoga—the yoga of devotion—heartfelt presence *Experience ways to increase our capacity to connect with heart
*Grow skills of embodied awareness
*Gain a deeper appreciation of the power differential within student-teacher or therapist-client relationship.
*Look at ways to empower students and clients
