Leah’s interest in yoga started in 2009 when she was facing a total hip replacement. Her study intensified after the surgery and as her strength increased, she began to more deeply understand the connection between the mind, body, and spirit. Wanting to increase her knowledge of all aspects of yoga, she pursued teacher training when she moved to Athens. She received her 200 hour certification in December 2017 from the Athens Yoga Institute. Since then, she has been privileged to share her love of yoga with the community; focusing on gently leading her students safely through their practice, being ever mindful of connecting the breath with the body as they move through the asanas. She continues her studies at Athens Five Points Yoga in the 300 Hr certification program and received a Restorative Yoga Certification in Minneapolis.
