Your relationship with your body is always in the background of your life. It emerges in the morning when getting ready for the day, it pops in when you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror or rises to your awareness when you meet someone new.
Finding more ease in your body has a ripple effect on your whole life; the goal doesn’t have to be to “love” your body – but to learn how to be kinder to it, to care for it, and to respect it. This workshop series is designed to teach you how to engage with your body in a whole new way. Your body doesn’t need to change in order for you to improve your relationship with it.
Join this six week series to create a definition of beauty that feels empowering so that you can take good care of yourself.
Together with a small group, you will explore the experiences that impact your relationship with your body, the societal pressures placed on bodies, and how these inform the way you care for your health and well-being. We focus on defining what body respect means to you and how to actually begin to cultivate kindness towards yourself. This workshop will help you design your path to well-being. We will focus on sustainable approaches that will last a lifetime. Finally, we will support you in crafting your own definition of beauty specific to you, your body, and your life.
